The Ateneo SALT is Hiring: Coordinator for Learning Design

Under the supervision of the Director of the Science and Art of Learning and Teaching (SALT) Institute, the Coordinator for Learning Design oversees the design, development, and management of processes and products for online courses, in support of the Digital University Magis Aspiration.
 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports the Director of the SALT Institute in matters related to policies and processes related to the design and development of online courses
  • Manages team members involved in the design and development of online courses, this includes learning designers, multimedia designers, project assistants and subject matter experts and other external partners
  • Supports faculty and administrators in various schools in learning design related concerns
  • Conducts professional development and consultancy activities for internal and external stakeholders concerning learning design
  • Coordinates with internal and external partners in the development of products to support effective practices in learning design
  • Performs other duties as may be requested by the Executive Director of the SALT Institute 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Very good oral and written communication skills 
  • Very good networking skills 
  • Alignment with the vision-mission of GBSEALD, particularly about educational leadership 
  • Experience in design of online courses or courseware
  • Experience in/exposure to application and approval of official documents
  • Planning, organization, and project management skills with attention to detail 
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, Canvas LMS, Google Drive, Zoom, Google Meet, and various online education and communication tools 
  • Time management and ability to multitask efficiently 
  • Ability to work effectively whether onsite or online (in case of work-from-home set-up)

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field of expertise related to education
