Overview
The Learning Designer leads the design and development of online and blended learning courses, ensuring the application of sound instructional design principles to create engaging and effective digital learning experiences.
Working closely with faculty/subject matter experts (SMEs) and the Ateneo SALT Team, the Learning Designer helps develop course structures, multimedia materials, and interactive activities. This is a full-time, project- and output-based role in an onsite or hybrid setup, depending on project needs.
Project Period: Project-based (Initial contract is until May 2026)

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty/SMEs and the design team to create course syllabi, structures, and content.
- Develop course materials with SMEs, including but not limited to learning design documents, videos, multimedia learning assets, and activities in Canvas LMS.
- Review, revise, and ensure quality and alignment of course content and produced materials.
- Supervise video/multimedia production and coordinate with the Multimedia Designer and other team members.
- Provide guidance on learning design, recommend process improvements, and support Ateneo SALT Institute initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience in instructional/learning design projects, including online course development.
- Strong skills in planning, project management, and quality assurance with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (preferably Canvas), Google Suite and online education tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
- Excellent oral and written communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and aligned with the vision-mission of GBSEALD, particularly in educational leadership.
