2022 Bar Exam Results
To my fellow Ateneo Law School alumni, faculty members and students:
I am more than pleased to announce that based on the records of the Supreme Court, our Ateneo Law School ranked first among all law schools that had more than 100 bar candidates in the bar exams held last November 2022, registering a 96.74% overall passing rate (i.e., all candidates). As a subset of this, 97.24% first time takers from our Ateneo Law School successfully passed the last bar exams.
In individual rankings, eight (8) of our students ranked among the top thirty (30) passers.
The bar exams has long been touted as the toughest licensure examination in the Philippines and seeing our graduates perform as well as they have is a true source of pride for our community. We trust and pray that each one of them will continue to strive for excellence in all that they do in the service of our fellowmen and of our nation and in upholding the rule of law founded upon a rule of justice, all for the greater glory of God.
For all who have so generously given of themselves to help our bar takers in this journey, our profound gratitude. And even as we celebrate and give thanks, let us not ever forget to extend a hand anew to those who may have fallen short this time around but will undoubtedly rise up with confidence and renewed resolve when they take the next bar exams.
One big fight!
