Ateneo de Manila University's SDG 2: Zero Hunger Report for the academic year 2022-2023

The Office of the Assistant Vice President for Social Development, Environment, and Community Engagement presents Ateneo de Manila University's report on its progress towards the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2): Zero Hunger for the academic year 2022-2023. This comprehensive report highlights Ateneo's commitment to addressing global food insecurity, which has been exacerbated by the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic. 

Showcasing a range of initiatives, the report underscores Ateneo's approach through feeding programs, sustainable food system workshops, and innovative agricultural practices like hydroponics and microgreens cultivation integrated into science curricula. Collaborative partnerships, particularly with Gawad Kalinga, have significantly bolstered initiatives such as the Kusina ng Kalinga (KnK+) program, which aims to provide millions of meals and establish sustainable Zero Hunger Communities nationwide.

Ateneo's initiatives reinforce its leadership in addressing societal challenges through education, innovation, and community-driven action.
