Administrative Arrangement in the Ateneo Law School from March to May 2026
As we know, the Deanship position in the Ateneo Law School has been left vacant following the unexpected departure of Atty Jose Maria G Hofileña.
Upon proper discernment and with my recommendation, the President approved the appointment of ATTY MA. NGINA TERESA “MAITA” C GONZAGA as Acting Dean from now until 31 May 2026. Prior to this appointment, Atty. Maita Gonzaga, Associate Dean at the Ateneo Law School, was designated as OIC of the Office of the Dean until 15 March 2026. Her new appointment as Acting Dean, supersedes this previous designation.
I trust that the community will support Atty Maita in her leadership role at the Ateneo Law School in pursuing the goals that Dean Joey had set for the ALS this school year.
We pray for Atty Joey’s eternal repose in the Heavenly Kingdom!
We pray for God’s healing love on the Ateneo Law School community!
