Join the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability as we discuss the significance of exposing children to the natural world while growing up. Sharon Cortez, founder of Forest School Philippines, and Abi Garrino, a research associate at the Biodiversity Research Laboratory (BRL), UP Diliman, will be speaking about the importance of nature in child development and will share ways we can provide these experiences for our kids and students.
Through this webinar we will:
- Discuss the need for children to have contact with nature
- Enumerate or describe ways parents and educators can integrate nature in everyday lives
- Enjoy a short nature education activity session for parents and kids
The webinar is scheduled on 2 April 2022 (Saturday) from 2:00PM to 3:30 PM to be held via Zoom, and streamed live on Youtube. Everyone is welcome to join!
