Ateneo Law holds send-off mass for 2024 Bar Exam takers

On 31 August 2024, a send-off mass was held at the St Thomas More Chapel on the Ateneo Rockwell Campus for the 2024 bar exam takers. The event was attended by the candidates' family members, friends, faculty, staff, and administrators, all coming together to offer their support and prayers. The mass was presided over by Fr Antonio Roberto G Sian SJ, Chaplain for Higher Education (Professional Schools), who offered a special blessing for the bar exam takers and their bar kits.

In his message, Ateneo School of Law Dean Jose Maria G Hofileña acknowledged the unwavering support that the bar candidates received from faculty members, alumni volunteers, student organizations, and friends. Dean Hofileña encouraged the candidates to trust in the rigorous preparation they had undergone, saying, "Trust that your years at Ateneo Law School, including the intense sixteen exam periods you successfully completed, have prepared you well." He assured them that the knowledge and skills they needed to succeed in the bar exams were already within them, ready to be called upon when needed. Dean Hofileña urged the candidates to stay sharp, healthy, and calm as they approach the exams. "Let’s do this! One big fight!" he concluded.

Following the mass, the bar candidates were enthusiastically cheered on by the Blue Babble Battalion, along with their friends and supporters.
