Pride Month 2024 - Open Call for Calendar Events

The University Gender and Development Office (UGDO) invites offices, organizations, and school-based groups to submit activities and events related to Pride Month 2024 for inclusion in the University Pride Month Calendar.

This year’s theme, “Embracing Inclusion: Equality, Justice, and Freedom for All”, reflects our ongoing commitment to gender inclusivity. Our Pride Month celebration this October will focus on collective efforts toward achieving equality, justice, and freedom for all.  This year’s theme also seeks more avenues for wider reflection on what it means for our community to be more gender-inclusive, gender-responsive, and gender safe in our classrooms, in our research and in our engagement with our university partners.  The activities for this month present an opportunity to “embrace people where they are”: to understand deeply the diversity of contexts, and everyday realities, and provide a genuine space for dialogue and meaningful change.
