This October 2024, Ateneo de Manila University invites the University Community to come together in celebration of Pride Month under this year's theme, 'Embracing Everyone: Equality, Justice, and Freedom for All.' This theme reflects our continuing commitment to fostering a gender-inclusive environment, and it highlights the collective efforts needed to achieve true equality, justice, and freedom for every member of our community.

This pride month celebration offers us an opportunity to "embrace people where they are," acknowledging the diversity of context and everyday realities that shape our lives, and providing spaces for dialogues and meaningful change.

Throughout the month, the University and its units will be hosting array of events, workshops, conversations, and discussions aimed not only celebrate the diversity within our community but also to encourage deeper reflection on what it means to be truly inclusive.

Ateneo aims to create more avenues for wider reflection on what it means for our community to be more gender-inclusive, gender-responsive, and gender safe in our classrooms, in our research and in our engagement with our university partners.

Interested parties may contact the organizations, offices, and units directly for more details, as the events may still be updated and finalized. More exciting events may also be added to the calendar!  Please refer to www.ateneo.edu/central/gender/ugdo/bulletins for regular updates
