Ateneo School of Government welcomes new Dean: Aligned with school's thrust, Dr Oreta begins transformational leadership

The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) has officially welcomed its new Dean, Dr Jennifer "Apple" S Oreta, who assumes her leadership role for a three-year term starting 1 June 2025. Dr Oreta's appointment marks a significant moment for the institution as she initiates her tenure with an inspiring vision and a commitment to transformative leadership.
Kicking off her deanship, Dr Oreta held a general assembly attended by faculty members, administrators, and staff, where she creatively introduced herself and outlined her advocacy efforts. In a passionate address, she discussed her perspectives on the core mission of ASoG, emphasizing the importance of cultivating impactful teaching, research, and outreach initiatives that resonate with the University's Lux In Domino strategic thrusts.
During the assembly, she expressed her dedication to fostering a collaborative environment that encourages critical yet constructive discourse. Her leadership style is characterized by a problem-solving approach, determination, and a keen focus on enhancing the quality of life for students, faculty, staff, and the wider community.
