Ateneo Law School Hosts #BestBarEver
10 Feb 2022
On February 4 and 6, 2022, the Ateneo Law School was one of the designated testing sites for the 2020/21 Philippine Bar Examinations.
After a series of postponements due to the pandemic, this year’s bar exam had the largest number of examinees. It was also the first time that it was held in multiple venues and conducted digitally. The Supreme Court also shortened the exam days to two days instead of the usual four days. It also compressed the exam coverage.
Health and safety protocols were instituted to ensure the safety of the examinees and bar personnel. Among others, participants were required to submit negative results of RT-PCR and antigen tests. Physical distancing was also observed inside the venue. On-site antigen testing and a quarantine room were also made available inside the venue.
Four Supreme Court Justices visited the Ateneo Law School during the examinations, namely: Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen, the Bar Chairperson for the 2020/21 Bar Examinations; Senior Associate Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe, the Bar Chairperson for the 2019 Bar Examinations and Ateneo Law alumnae; Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, the Bar Chairperson for the 2023 Bar Examinations; and, Ateneo alumnus Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, the Bar Chairperson for the upcoming November 2022 Bar examinations.
Congratulations Ateneo Law School!
