ASoG-ExecEd and PAF ALEN forge 5-year partnership for the conduct of PAF LEAD Program

07 June 2022, Lipa City, Batangas. The Ateneo School of Government formally received the approved Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine Air Force for the conduct of the PAF Leadership Excellence and Development Program (PAF LEAD Program). Signed by the current Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana AFP (Ret.) and Ateneo de Manila University President Father Roberto Yap SJ, the MOA officially forges the 5-year partnership between the two institutions.  In January 2022, the Executive Education Program of the ASoG successfully completed the first iteration of the PAF LEAD Program, in close coordination with the PAF Aviation Leadership and Excellence Nexus (PAF ALEN) of the Air Education, Training, and Doctrine Command. The official partnership signals the mutual commitment of the PAF and the ASoG to continuously enhance and strengthen the training program in order to address the critical competency requirements of PAF officers.  In particular, the program is designed to prepare PAF officers for their Master in National Security Administration, a requirement before any military officer can be considered for the general ranks. The next batches will commence every third quarter of the year until 2026.
