NSTP12-Bigkis students and Youth IP leaders gather in Ateneo for a workshop

On October 21, 2022, the NSTP12-Bigkis group of III AB Development Studies students named Team Bukas na Bukas facilitated an on-campus face-to-face workshop with twenty-three IP youth leaders at Gonzaga Room 312. The IP youth leaders came from different parts of the country after attending a 5-day youth camp organized by OSCI's partner organization, Non-Timber Forest Products-Exchange Programme (NTFP-EP) Philippines.
The main goal of the workshop was to discuss the initial proposed interventions on the issues that they have experienced in their respective communities and as a network. The students are under the mentorship of their professors in Community Development and Social Change (Dev 106.1), Dr. Mark Anthony D. Abenir, and in The Economy, Society, and Sustainable Development (SocSc13), Dr. Lara Katrina T. Mendoza.
