ACSEnt joins the Social Enterprise Trade Fair 2024

In celebration of Women’s Month, the Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ACSEnt) joined the Social Enterprise Trade Fair at the Philippine Senate. The trade fair entitled “Empowering Women and Ending Poverty through Social Entrepreneurship” showcases, among other things, social enterprises run by women, for women or both. The trade fair happening from March 11 to 14 at the 4th floor of the Philippine Senate building is an initiative of the Poverty Reduction through Social Entrepreneurship (PRESENT) Coalition. The PRESENT Coalition is a network of social enterprise practitioners, advocates, NGOs and members of the academia who have joined together to advance social entrepreneurship as an approach to poverty eradication and economic development. ACSEnt is a member of the coalition while Ateneo de Manila is a founding member and co-convener of the coalition.
Participating social enterprises include – Human Nature, Happy Helpers, Mamapina, Habi, Good Food Co. Coffee for Peace and many more!
