Ateneo Blue Nest startups win national champion and first runner-up at Shell LiveWIRE 2025

Two startups from the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office (AIPO) incubation program Blue Nest achieved top honors at the Shell LiveWIRE 2025 National Competition, held in conjunction with Echelon Philippines 2025, one of Asia’s leading startup and innovation conferences. 

Among more than 500 applicants nationwide, Greentech Ecobooster PH was awarded National Champion, receiving ₱1 million in equity-free funding, while Pili AdheSeal Inc. was named First Runner-Up, securing ₱500,000 in equity-free funding. Greentech Ecobooster PH is advancing turbulator technology that enhances fuel efficiency by reducing fuel consumption by up to 60% while lowering exhaust emissions by as much as 98%. Pili AdheSeal Inc. is developing a high-performance, sustainable adhesive derived from Pili tree sap, offering a viable alternative to synthetic adhesives for use in aerospace manufacturing and other industrial applications. “These remarkable wins highlight the strength of Ateneo’s innovation ecosystem and the dedication of our entrepreneurs in addressing pressing challenges through sustainable business solutions." said Bryan Erfe, AIPO's Business Development Officer who has witnessed these two startups grow in the last 4-5 years. From ideation to incubation and now to national recognition, Blue Nest remains committed to empowering founders who create meaningful impact.

As a community partner of Echelon Philippines 2025, organized by e27 in partnership with Brainsparks, AIPO also engaged with investors, founders, and innovation leaders from across the region, including Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and various parts of the Philippines. The conference provided a platform to explore collaborations and strengthen support for startups building sustainable and socially impactful ventures.
