Ateneo Philosophy faculty members lead 2nd PhilSEP conference

The 2nd annual conference of the Philippine Society of Education and Philosophy (PhilSEP) was held in cooperation with the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Department of Philosophy at the UP campus from 12 to 14 November 2025, led by a board that includes Ateneo de Manila Department of Philosophy faculty members Dr Rowena Azada-Palacios (Founding Chair) and Dr Noel Clemente (Founding Treasurer). The theme of this year's conference was "Philosophy within and beyond the classroom: P4C and other explorations". Papers, panels, and workshops were presented by academics and educational researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, and school teachers, including faculty and students from Ateneo de Manila's department of Philosophy. Dr. Federico Jose Lagdameo (Lecturer, Department of Philosophy) was one of the members of a plenary panel convened by the Philosophy with Children and Youth Network Asia-Paclfic (PCYNAP).
