ASHS sponsors 2025 University Way of the Cross

Sponsored by the Ateneo de Manila Senior High School, the annual University Way of The Cross gathering was held in Ateneo's Loyola Heights campus in the afternoon of Friday, 28 March 2025.
The event began with a 3:45 pm Mass in the ASHS St Aloysius Gonzaga Chapel that was presided by Fr Joaquin Jose Mari "Jonjee" C Sumpaico III SJ, Vice President for Basic Education. In his homily, Fr Jonjee talked about the artwork created by ASHS student Josh Ong Ante (11-Tsuji) for the 2025 Way of the Cross, and how it invites us to carry our crosses in our daily lives and journey with Jesus as He leads us to salvation.
After the Eucharistic Celebration, the Way of the Cross began at around 4:30 pm, with Ong Ante's painting being processioned to all 15 stations throughout the campus.
The gathering concluded at around 6:40 pm at the Church of the Gesù.
