The webinar has emphasized the importance of investing in human capital, developing middle-level skills of workers, and building a more skilled workforce. Three esteemed speakers provided insights on the workforce landscape: Dr. Leonardo A. Lanzona, Jr., a labor economist and faculty member at the Economics Department of Ateneo de Manila University; Mr. Brian Adam Anay, a development worker; and Mr. Leon Flores III, CESE, MPM, Professor of Praxis at ASoG, marketing executive, entrepreneur, and former Chairman and CEO of the National Youth Commission. These distinguished practitioners discussed sector priorities and the need for investment in skills and the development of specialized skills. The event offered a comprehensive overview of the workforce landscape, considering drivers of change such as climate change, technological advancements, educational shifts, and demographic changes.

More than 150 participants attended the online event, engaging enthusiastically and openly in the discourse on the topic at hand. The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees across various provinces throughout the country.
