Executive Education Program team is expanding! We are looking for Learning Innovation Coordinator to join our growing team.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Position Title: Learning Innovation Coordinator
Location: Ateneo School of Government
Duration: initial 3 months


I. Background

The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) is committed to advancing public service and governance through a range of academic and professional development programs. In response to the growing demand for flexible, and skills-focused learning, ASoG is expanding its offerings to include microcredential courses. These courses aim to provide targeted, practical skills and knowledge in leadership, governance and public policy. The Learning Innovation Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating these programs, ensuring they meet the needs of learners and align with the strategic goals of ASoG. The Learning Innovation Coordinator will serve as the primary coordinator between ASoG and other stakeholders within and outside ADMU, ensuring the successful development and implementation of these courses.


II. Key Responsibilities

The main objective of the Learning Innovation Coordinator is to oversee the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of course/s at ASoG. The Coordinator will ensure that this/these courses/s is/are designed and delivered to the highest academic standards, are responsive to the needs of the target audience, and are effectively integrated into ASoG’s overall educational offerings.

1.Program Coordination

  • Lead the coordination of the development and design of the courses, working closely with Administrators of ASoG, Faculty, Subject Matter Experts, and external partners.
  • Coordinate the preparation of course materials, including syllabi, learning resources, assessments, and digital content
  • Ensure that all courses align with ASoG’s academic standards and meet the needs of the intended audience.

2. Project Management

  • Work with the three units in ASOG to develop and manage project plans for the development and launch of new microcredential courses, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Monitor progress against project plans, ensuring that deadlines are met and that any issues are promptly address.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including administrators at ASoG and faculty to ensure successful delivery of courses

3.    Administrative Support

  • Manage the administrative aspects of the development of course
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures in the development and delivery of microcredential course
  • Provide support to Administrators and Faculty in the delivery, including managing digital platforms and resolving technical issues.
  • Support ASoG’s institutional efforts to align with government-recognized standards for learning and development programs.

III.    Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Management or related field. A master’s degree or those working towards a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program coordination, educational program development, or a related role within an academic institution.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of microcredentialing trends and best practices in online education is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and tools for program management and delivery.

This is a project-based role based at ASoG, Ateneo de Manila University, with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements.
