Anton Doria scores perfect gold as AJHS wins big at Int’l Science Olympiad’s PH Round

Representing the Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) and Junior High School (AJHS), 11 scientifically-inclined Ateneans brought pride to the community by winning a total of 4 gold, 1 silver, and 6 bronze medals at the inaugural International Equilibrium Science Olympiad (IESO) Heat Round 2025, held online on 8 June 2025.
Leading the delegation was Anton Doria (formerly of AGS 6-Brebeuf, now in AJHS 7-Arrowsmith), who earned a gold medal with a perfect score in the Primary 6 category— an extraordinary achievement in this global competition!

The IESO is an international science competition that challenges students in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Astronomy through rigorous, concept-based questions. The contest aims to deepen scientific understanding and critical thinking, while fostering curiosity and global excellence in STEM among young learners.
