AIS and ALLS launch For People and Planet: An SDG Adventure

03 Dec 2021

Sustainable Cities and Communities
For People and Planet: A Sustainable Development Adventure

For People and Planet: An SDG Adventure is an adventure game where students learn how they can live out the Sustainable Development Goals in their daily lives. This game is intended for students in grades 4-6, but anyone is sure to learn something new while playing!

Learn about what YOU can do to ensure a sustainable future in the five chapters of the game. Explore different sets of SDGs and how we can live these out through fun mini games:

WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?

Discover the steps that we take not only to feed ourselves but also to ensure that future generations can still rely on the land and the sea for sustenance.

FLOOD FIGHTERS

See how communities implement disaster risk reduction to prevent the disaster risks associated with flooding and heavy rainfall.

A WALK IN THE PARK

Explore a livable town and learn how its people can thrive without sacrificing the environment.

WORK WORK

Visit a community enterprise and see how it secures sustainable sources of income for its members to improve the quality of their lives.

LEARNING IS FOR EVERYONE

Go to school and learn about making education accessible to everyone.

For Teachers

Teachers can easily integrate this into lesson plans. Check out our Teacher Resource Pack! In here you will find Slide decks, background information of each chapter, and the various Most Essential Learning Components (MELCs) that each chapter can be related to.
