SECRA Webinar Series
Strengthening University-Enterprise Collaboration (UEC) for Resilient Communities in Asia (SECRA)

 

As part of its initiatives, the SECRA Philippine partner universities will be holding a series of webinars in February and March to share the results of studies conducted with key stakeholders on UECs. These analyses focus on mapping the collaborative landscape of institutions and enterprises in SECRA partner countries in Asia - Philippines, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.

 

Webinar 1:
"Review of UEC for Climate and Disaster Resilience: Cross-Country Comparison"
February 22, 2022 (Tuesday) | 2:00 - 5:00 pm (PST GMT+8)

This session aims to communicate insights from a study on University-Enterprise Collaboration (UEC) across 3 countries: Philippines, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. The webinar aims to raise awareness on opportunities for research and to discuss the ongoing investigations related to the fields. This first installment of the webinar is being organized by the Philippine Normal University.

"Institutional Landscapes, Social Networks, and Market Analysis of UEC for Climate and Disaster Resilience"
March 7, 2022 (Monday) | 4:00 - 5:30 pm (PST GMT+8)

In this webinar, Dr. Sarita Jane Robinson from the University of Central Lancashire will be sharing key insights derived from surveys on UECs for climate action and disaster resilience with administrators, faculty, researchers, and representatives from various enterprises, including government offices, businesses, and NGOs. This second installment of the webinar series is being organized by Ateneo de Manila University.
