Ateneo scholar joins PAGTANAW 2050 industry roundtable on food, nutrition, and health

An Ateneo de Manila University scholar was among the key contributors to the fourth industry-focused Roundtable Discussion (RTD) under PAGTANAW 2050, the country’s national science, technology, and innovation foresight initiative.
Held on 21 November 2025 at UP Diliman, the RTD, organized by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines in partnership with the Philippine Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology, focused on strengthening food, nutrition, and health systems.
Dr Dennis Batangan, Medical Doctor, Public Health Specialist, and Research Scientist at the RGLSoSS, served as a key presenter, sharing industry-informed insights on innovation, governance, and cross-sector collaboration to support farmer livelihoods, improve nutrition, and modernize health systems.
